The Vitamin Shoppe’s Trend Report 2025
The Vitamin Shoppe published its fourth annual Health and Wellness Trend Report, providing insights from its retail locations, online store, and industry-wide data from SPINS. The overall results are:

  • In 2025, The Vitamin Shoppe has seen year-to-date sales increases of 20% in RTD protein beverages and 28% in protein bars and snacks, and protein powders decreased by 12%.
  • Searches for NAD+ on vitaminshoppe.com have increased nearly 500% this year. The cellular health and healthy aging category grew by 91% in Q1, and NAD+ products contributed 90% of that growth.
  • Searches for peptides exploded by over 550% in 2025, and 41% of all consumers are “a lot” or “somewhat” more aware of peptides than five years ago.
  • Consumers are actively seeking more convenient ways to integrate supplements into their routines. Sales of liquid vitamins at The Vitamin Shoppe have jumped 50% year-to-date, searches for “creatine gummies” have skyrocketed 1300%. Pills and capsules still dominate overall sales by 65%.
  • Shilajit sales were up over 40% in Q1 of this year, driven by social media attention and many new product launches.
